Glenda Prideaux
Civil Celebrant
Welcome.
I am a Commonwealth Authorised Marriage Celebrant and Accredited Funeral Celebrant.
After 30 years as a nurse/midwife, I had become aware of the importance that ceremony and ritual has in our lives, in celebrating and honouring significant events, or in marking the transitions between one stage of our lives and the next. I decided to put my skills into creating ceremonies that celebrate and honour.
I work with clients to produce a ceremony that fits individual needs. It may be small and simple, or large and formal. I enjoy sharing my clients' special times and contributing in my professional capacity. By listening carefully to your ideas and needs, together we will craft a ceremony which will have an uplifting effect on all present and leave wonderful memories.
I will be delighted to be involved in what is a significant event in your life. Choosing from a vast range of resources together we can design a ceremony that is just right for you.
My qualifications and experience include:
- Commonwealth Registered Marriage Celebrant Under Section 39D of the Marriage Act (1961)
- Accredited Funeral Celebrant
- Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) — B.H.Sc.(Hons)
- Member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants (AFCC)
- 30 years experience as Registered Nurse/Midwife/Nurse Educator
