Family Relations Services
As part of our Code of Practice obligations we are required to maintain a current knowledge of family relationship services, and to pass information on to our marrying couples. Our obligation is not just about pre-marriage services, it is about a range of services that are available to marrying couples both before their marriage and during their marriage.
These resources may also be valuable at other challenging times of stress and grief within families.
Under the Government’s reforms to the family law system, civil celebrants need to have a current knowledge of the nearest Family Relationship Centre.
The Family Relationship Advice Line is Freecall 1800 050 321.
